| On Credit - You just can't help but fall in love with this film maker's quest to make it into "the big show," on the WQS (World Qualifying Series) of professional surfing. Ranked number 231 in tour that maybe puts 44 competitors in the money, we follow Johnny Abegg on the tour from his home in Bryon Bay Australia to 15 contests to "live the dream" of being a professional surfer. It's not easy to survive, especially when you do it "On Credit." Zen and Zero - a 7000 mile journey through Central America by landlocked Austrian surfers reminds of us the early surf documentaries and search for the secret society of surfing. |
